Conveniently located just north of Brentwood near Interstate 65, our clinic provides a variety of hearing healthcare services including hearing assessments and rehabilitation, education, and counseling. Our clinic also fits and dispenses sophisticated hearing aids and related devices to suit all types of hearing loss and life styles. Assessments regarding the level of amplification that would be best suited to our patients are generally completed following a comprehensive hearing evaluation by a qualified hearing health care professional. We also actively participate in the prevention of hearing loss through the provision and fitting of hearing protective devices, consultation on the effects of noise on hearing, and consumer education.
TIPS FOR PREVENTING MOISTURE-RELATED HEARING AID DAMAGE:
- DO NOT LEAVE YOUR HEARING AIDS IN A HOT CAR OR IN THE SUN (WHILE SWIMMING, AT THE BEACH, ETC.)
- AVOID HAVING YOUR HEARING AIDS IN A STEAMY BATHROOM
- IF YOU PERSPIRE A LOT, TAKE OFF YOUR HEARING AIDS MID-DAY AND WIPE THEM OFF. ALSO WIPE OFF THE BATTERY AND INSIDE THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT
- REGULARLY BLOW MOISTURE OUT OF YOUR TUBES IF YOU USE A BEHIND-THE-EAR AND THIN TUBE OR EARMOLD DESIGN
- STORE YOUR AIDS IN A DRYING UNIT AT NIGHT
